CONTEXT
The production and storage building uses a steel structure organised on a 6 × 25 metre grid, with sandwich-panel cladding and rooflights. The adjoining reinforced-concrete office building provides a two-storey entrance space and a more representative glazed façade.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The office building takes inspiration from military aircraft, particularly the geometry of the Nighthawk. Its form captures the moment of take-off. Red is used to connect the architecture to the company's brand identity and emphasise the front of the building. A large glazed facade brings natural light into the office spaces and creates a spacious, representative two-storey entrance hall.
