CONTEXT
The concept study brought together production, storage and office accommodation for GF Corp. The programme combined an economical industrial building with a representative office frontage and entrance, connecting the company’s operational needs with its public identity.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
A 6 × 25 metre steel grid organises the production and storage building, with sandwich-panel cladding and rooflights. The adjoining office uses a reinforced-concrete structure and a glazed, two-storey entrance hall. Its angular form takes its cue from the Nighthawk aircraft, while red accents identify the front of the development. The contrasting structures and envelopes distinguish the working hall from the office and arrival spaces.
