CONTEXT
The project forms part of a wider refurbishment near Carnaby Street. Its programme combines gym, treatment, spa, training and supporting spaces, requiring the coordination of distinct user, servicing and technical needs.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
A suspended glazed staircase forms the main spatial feature, animated by blue and purple ambient lighting and set against exposed concrete surfaces. Sculptural reception elements reinforce a distinctive contemporary identity at the point of arrival.
