CONTEXT
Moon Catcher responds to questions of loneliness, screen-mediated life and Soho's night-time identity. It proposes a place whose use changes through the day: learning and public activity during daylight, collective outdoor experience at dusk and private accommodation as part of the wider programme.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The concept combines cosmology, landscape and social space through an urban beach, moon-related cycles and a hotel component. It is presented as design research into social experience and time-based programming, not as a clinically evidenced wellbeing intervention.
