CONTEXT
The aim of this project was to create Zurich's UK workplace of the future and revitalise the company's presence in Swindon as a significant employer. The structure would serve as a catalyst for Swindon's long-awaited regeneration.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The highly visible ground level was integrated with a revitalised public area and landscaping around the building. Internally, the goal was to offer an open office space that is substantially distinct from what can be seen in the Zurich portfolio so far. It is hoped that the adopted architectural strategy, along with other Zurich initiatives, will benefit the neighbourhood and local communities.
