CONTEXT
Zurich’s new workplace in Swindon was intended to renew the company’s local presence and provide a more open office environment. The project formed part of a wider development that also introduced public-realm and landscape improvements.
ARCHITECTURAL RESPONSE
The work focused on developing the Cat B workplace fit-out into a set of technical drawings for tender. Room-by-room packages coordinated partitions, layouts, washrooms, kitchens and furniture through plans, sections and elevations. Finish and product selections were incorporated into the architectural specification, linking the drawing information with the materials and products to be priced by the main contractor.
